Seasons in Goa

Goa is the smallest state in India. It is situated in the middle of western coast of the country. Western coastal part of the state is plain. Center lies on a highland plateau while eastern edge of Goa is on foothills of mountains. The region has pronounced subequatorial climate with distinct rain and dry seasons.

Usually rainy season in India starts in late May. It occurs due to influence of monsoon winds and last until September. In June showers are at full swing. Cities are literally drowning due to amount of rainfall. Showers usually occur at evening or night and might last for couple hours. Rain is accompanied by lightning and thunder.

Beijing is the capital of PRC. It is situated close to northern edge of North China Plain. From north and west there are protecting the city from air masses from above Mongolian deserts and steppes. The Great Wall of China stretches along northern border of the city. Climate of the region is formed under influence of East-Asian monsoons and Siberian anticyclones.

Seasons in Shanghai

Shanghai is the world’s most populous city and the biggest port. It is situated in Eastern China at estuary of the Yangtze River on coast of the East China Sea (the Pacific Ocean). The Huangpu River crosses the city from west to south east.

Seasons in Guangzhou

Guangzhou is the main city in South China. In addition it is the third most populated city in the country. The city is situated close to south-eastern coast of the South China Sea at estuary of the Pearl River. There are some slight variations of relief, but their influence on climate of the city is minor.

Seasons in Chengdu

Chengdu is the city in south-western China. It is the center of Sichuan Province. Chengdu is situated on western edge of vast plain of the Sichuan Basin at elevation of 500 m (1640 ft). The city has humid subtropical climate. Qinling mountain range protects the city from cold air masses, so local winters are milder than in some other southern localities.

Seasons in Shenzhen

Shenzhen is the city in southern China. It is situated on eastern side of the Pearl River Delta and to north from Hong Kong. It is rapidly developing in production and other directions. Area occupied by the city once was hilly, but nowadays only three hills left while rest of territory is plain. Shenzhen lies on the border of subtropical and tropical climate zones. It is rainy and warm.

Nature of China

China is the most populated country of the world. It is situated in East Asia and occupies significant part of the Eurasia Continent. Actually it is the third (or fourth depending on method of calculation of area of USA) largest country of the world after Russia and Canada. Eastern side of the country is washed by the Pacific Ocean.

China is the third largest country of the world (or fourth depending on method of measurement) and most populated. It is situated in East Asia and is washed by the Pacific Ocean from east. Chinas’ climate varies from subtropical in south to arid in north-west and pronounced continental in north.

Rainy Season in China

China is the large country that has three main climatic zones: continental, subtropical and tropical. Regions with temperate climate have distinct seasons and relatively dry weather. Central part of the country has hot and rainy summers and cold winters. Rainy season is there in late summer. North-eastern provinces are much drier.

The city is exposed to air masses from above the ocean.
