Seasons in Antalya
Antalya is the major resort and port city in southern part of Turkey. It is situated on mountainous coast of the Mediterranean Sea. Subtropical Mediterranean climate of the region forms under influence of the Mediterranean Sea and barrier effect of the Taurus Mountains. The mountains hold cyclones from travel further to north as well as block way for northern winds.
Summer in Antalya is hot and dry. Heat may hit mark of 35 °C (95 °F) or even higher. Precipitation in summer is rare. Some summers were completely rainless. Winters are usually warm and rainy. Temperature below freezing is exceptional occasion as well as snow.

Spring in Antalya
In term of weather conditions spring in Antalya is only in March. In first month of the season temperature reaches 18 °C (64 °F) and grows to 21 °C (70 °F) in April. Nights are chilly in first half of spring with 8 °C (46 °F) and 11 °C (52 °F) respectively. In addition, in late April swimming season begins when the sea warms up to 20 °C (68 °F).May has summer daily range of 15-26 °C (59-79 °F).
First half of the season is rainy, but amount and frequency of precipitation gradually decreases month by month. General tourist influx begins in May when air and the sea are warm enough for wide range of activities available in Antalya.

Summer in Antalya
Summer in Antalya is tough. Despite forecasts it is often as hot as 35-38 °C (95-100 °F). Brave locals and visitors are crowding beaches, but water has temperature of 28-29 °C (82-84 °F) and brings minor relief. June is the coolest summer month. Daily averages of first summer month are between 19 °C (66 °F) and 30 °C (86 °F). Averages for next two months are 22-34 °C (71-93 °F).
There are two ways to avoid summer heat. You can either wait it out in conditioned rooms until night brings comfortable temperature either visit local aqua-park. There’s no hope for rain because it is rare (or even absent throughout the season) or dries fast even is occur. Fortunately air humidity is rather low and air isn’t stuffy.

Autumn in Antalya
Autumn in Antalya makes better summer than summer itself. Completely comfortable comes in early October when afternoon average drops below 30 °C (86 °F). Pleasant warm days are followed by chilly nights with temperature of 15 °C (59 °F) in October and 12 °C (53 °F) in November. The sea remains warmer than 20 °C (68 °F) through whole season.
Amount and frequency of precipitation gradually grows from almost completely dry September to moderately rainy November. In general autumn in Antalya is better than in northern resorts of Turkey. It provides comfortable weather for all available activities.

Winter in Antalya
In general winter in Antalya is mild and warm, but bit rainy. Daytime air temperature ranges between 13 °C (55 °F) and 17 °C (62 °F) and drops to 6-11 °C (42-52 °F) at night. Rainy days are common by they are followed by bright sunny days with clear azure sky. There are up 8 hours of magnificent sunshine per day.
Winter is great for wandering among narrow paved streets of historical center, spectating broad harbor with snow-white yachts or exploring ruins of old byzantine fortress. Seaside activities are limited by cool water in the sea.
