The South of Russia is the warmest part of the country, officially designated the Southern Federal District, includes the southern territorial subjects of the Russian Federation.
Krasnodar Krai is the southernmost region of Russia. It is located on the Kuban-Azov lowland in the Western part of the Caucasus. Krasnodar territory is washed by two seas: to the South-West between the Black sea and in the North-West – the sea of Azov.
The climate of Krasnodar region is formed under the influence of warm seas. It is quite varied throughout the region: from the cold climate of the highlands to the temperate continental climate of the Kuban lowlands and forested foothills to the subtropical climate of the black sea coast. Spring in the South of Russia

Winter in the South of Russia
Winter is mild, but at the same time unpredictable.
