The climate in Oregon, due to the wide variety of climatic zones, cannot be described in one word.
In the west, there is an oceanic climate zone, in the southwest the Mediterranean climate prevails, in the east - semi-arid, and in the northeast - steppe. In mountainous areas, subarctic conditions with cold winters. The Blue Mountains, the Cascade Mountains, and the Coast Mountain Range have a significant impact on the state's weather.

Spring in Oregon
Spring in Oregon is wet, warm, and mild. March is quickly warmer from 19°F to 57°F (-7 °C to +14 °C). In the mountains frost around 19 °F (-7 °C). is possible. In the spring, it is customary to admire the waterfalls of Oregon. In March, the wild trillium blooms. It is worth going for a walk in one of the national parks. Cherry blossoms in Portland and on the banks of the Hood River at Tom McCall Park. Late April and May are the best times for whale watching in Depot Bay.

Summer in Oregon
Summers in Oregon are warm, but without the sweltering heat. On the west coast, average temperatures reach 64-68 °F (+18 °C +29 °C). The eastern part is hotter - 81-94 °F (+27 °C +34 °C). It is always worth having a raincoat and an umbrella with you, as rain can start unexpectedly. Thunderstorms are possible. The hottest month is July. It is especially hot in Ontario - over 100 °F (+38 °C).
Summer is a great time for rafting, fishing, swimming, boating. The most interesting trails run through Crater Lake National Park and Deschats National Forest Park. Tourists are offered a variety of wine tours in the Willamette Valley. In July, the Pinot Villamette International Festival takes place here.

Autumn in Oregon
It's still warm in Oregon in September, around 85 °F (+29 °C). The weather gradually becomes rainy, fogs begin. In October, the temperature is kept in the range of 55-70 °F (+13 °C +21 °C). In November, it gets cold to 48-55 °F (+9 °C +13 °C). The nights are cold, but nature compensates for this with the splendor of bright colors.
You still have time to admire the Toketi Falls in the Cascade Mountains. After mid-October, be prepared for a flurry of snow if you linger in the mountainous areas. In such weather it is better to stay in the city. In the fall, Oregon hosts many festivals and harvest fairs with a national flavor.

Winter in Oregon
The coldest place in winter is the Cascade Mountains. Here the temperature drops to 18 °F (-8 °C). The rest of the state has milder weather. Temperature 37 °F to 42 °F (+3 °C to +6 °C). The warmest climate on the coast. Blizzards and snowfalls are possible.
There are heavy snowfalls in the mountains. There are many campsites in national parks and ski tourism is well developed. Alpine skiing, snowshoes, tubing and snowboarding allow you to master the slopes in the mountains from December to the end of February. Families with children will be interested in taking a walk to the Portland Zoo or the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry.
