Seasons in Nevada

Most of Nevada has an arid climate. Several rivers throughout the state make it semi-arid. It has the largest number of deserts in the US. The most famous among them is the Mojave Desert. To the west is the large Lake Tahoe.

Winters are traditionally cold and summers are hot. Earthquakes sometimes occur, but they do not exceed 3.5 on the Richter scale.
